Subscribe to the Necropsy

The Necropsy is a weekly data post: what died, what shipped, what quietly stopped matching its own README. Every claim traces to a fleet run ID.

To subscribe, email us. There is no form here on purpose — a form needs a server that stores your address behind a submit button you can't inspect. Emailing us proves you control the address in the first step, and you can see exactly what you sent.

What happens next

We reply with a confirmation token.
You reply with that token. Nothing is sent to you until you do — that is what double opt-in means, and it is why someone else cannot subscribe you.
You get the Necropsy. That is all you get.

What we do with your address

It is stored on a private machine. It is never in our public repository and never on the web server.
It is never sold, shared, or used for anything but the Necropsy.
No tracking pixels, no click tracking, no open tracking.
Reply unsubscribe at any time. We honour it permanently and we will not quietly re-add you later.

We also publish an RSS feed, which requires giving us nothing at all. If you prefer that, use that.
